Roland Blum, *1966 Grabs, lives and works in Schaan, Liechtenstein.
Work focus: abstract landscape photography with main focus on aerial shots.
Since 2018 he’s working constantly on his main project poetry of silence.
poetry of silence is an ongoing work of abstract aerial desert photography
realized in the namib desert and it's surroundings.
He concentrates mainly on the shapes and structures in combination
with the unique light of the desert.
By leaving out any reference points that gives an indication of the size,
the abstraction is intensified. His photographic work is very close to painting.
And painting with light is photography in the truest sense of the word.
